"The Window" in the News

> The first "Thank you" - After just getting started, a "Thank you note" appeared in the Lafayette Journal and Courier.  Thank you Melissa from Brookston for being my first public acknowledgement.

> Lafayette Journal and Courier - Story

Journal and Courier reporter Taya Flores visited Bids at his apartment in late September and the story made the FRONT PAGE on Monday, September 28, 2009.  At right is a picture of the front page from that edition.  (Sam is not a fan of being held for very long and the traffic on the street didn't help, so pardon her less than model-esque appearance.)  Read the story here on JCOnline.

> Lafayette City Blog - "Great Lafayette" - Feature

After a night at Lafayette's Lala Gallery (a friend of Sam and Maze), Bids was introduced to the video blogger from Great Lafayette, Manny Cervantes.  Manny knew of "The Window" and filmed Bids putting the July 17 window in place.  Check out his feature on the Greater Lafayette website here

> Local News - TV18 WLFI Story

On May 29, 2009, Alyssa Rossomme of TV18 brought a cameraman to Bids' apartment, filmed him creating a cartoon and also conducted an interview with him.  The story aired on all 4 editions of the news that day.  Click here to see the story on their website.

**Bonus** - The entire interview is posted here

> SIRIUS Satellite Radio - Alan Hunter's Show on SIRIUS' 80s on 8

Alan Hunter is a DJ on SIRIUS' 80s on 8 channel.  During his show, he regularly mentions people who do unique things to make this world a better place.  Bids didn't know if a cartoon on a window qualified, but Mr. Hunter certainly thought it did.  He considered a cartoon on a window brought some humor in to the world and mentioned the drawings on his show during the 8 o'clock hour on June 1, 2009.

> In the future???

Sam and Maze would love to garner more coverage to bring more attention to their Mission.  More local news coverage, regional coverage like Indianapolis or even larger would definitely be welcome.  Sam and Maze have always been fans of The Bob and Tom Show (even though they appear to favor dogs), and they think the show would identify with their causes.  A mention on their show would be awesome!
