Welcome!  Please, feel free to thumb through our website.  Bids has tried to make this website a little more entertaining than the average website.  There is a hidden cartoon somewhere in here, the drawings of the cats aren't always what they seem, and since Bids doesn't care to have the limelight focused on him, he's incredibly hard to find on this site; but he IS here somewhere. 

     Take a look at the descriptions of the pages in the website below, check out the Updates section to the right, and we hope you're entertained.  At least a little...

NEWS:

- "The Window" Official Photographer

     > Dave Mason, of IS Photographic, is now the Official Photographer of "The Window".  Dave has taken pictures of the last few cartoons and once there are enough for a portfolio, Bids will be able to submit the cartoon to newspapers in an attempt to become a Sunday (or once a week) strip. 

     Dave does awesome work (his photos will put the lousy ones Bids usually posts to shame), so be sure to check back soon once the digital images are available.  Click on the logo to check out Dave's website and see more of his work.

     Angela at the Lala Gallery (see our Friends section) threw some ceramic pieces and Bids painted the cats on them.  The pieces are now available at Lala Gallery and soon they will be available on the SamandMaze store. 

     > ALSO:  Cartoons you can hang on your wall!!  More greeting cards!  Postcards!  ...As usual, at least 20% of the proceeds go to help animal shelters and other animal-related causes (see the cats' Mission).

> "The Window" - "The Window" is the cartoon strip too large for newspapers and thus appears on the windows located at the corner of 5th and Columbia in downtown Lafayette, IN.  See every edition of the cartoon here. 

> The Story - See how all this got started and how Sam and Maze are trying to help animal shelters and other worthy causes.

> Sam - The sleek, black cat in "The Window".  Older and wiser than Maze, Sam's not afraid to tell it like it is.  See Sam's bio here.

> Maze - The heftier, younger cat in "The Window".  Usually asking the questions, Maze is often surprised by the answers Sam gives.  See Maze's bio here.

> SamandMaze Store - Sam and Maze are dedicated to helping animal shelters, so at least 20% of the proceeds of anything bought in their store goes to help out animal shelters and other worthy causes.  See their "Store" for more info and buy everything in sight!!
